There are two main applications for field strength meters:
1. Measuring of tangential field strength during magnetisation to ensure the values required by specification or by the customers.
2. Measuring of residual field strength resp. induction (normal component) after demagnetisation to ensure that no chips adhere to the workpiece which disturb a successive machining.
